&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;January, 2006:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt; SleepXML Concept was presented at a conference&lt;br&gt; a day long conference entitled “Workshop to develop guidelines for Electronic Interchange of Polysomnography Data,” was held on January 27, 2006 in Philadelphia. It was attended by researchers, clinicians, as well as representatives from the sleep industry, ATS, AASM and NHLBI. The primary goal of this conference was to initiate development of a broad consensus on a standard for polysomnography data exchange (raw data, annotations etc), with input from experts in the sleep community and industry.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;
